If you're talking about the glass she produces, it's stronger and more heat resistant. I could melt it for you, just wait till I can get out of bed without falling over. As for the glass she's made of, I have no desire to test its limits. Keep her away from furnaces, would you.

I've never heard of a Roomba either. Is it some sort of creature?

They look really cool now though. Better this way than they were as crayons.

A Roomba? it's a robot vacuum cleaner.

Assume I don't know half of the words you're using. I think your language may be further removed from mine than I realized. Robot and vacuum are new as well.

I have a forge in my cabin, and I can also serve as a living furnace when I'm not too feverish to control it. I'll help with your project later. [That, and maybe cookies, are the thanks he's likely to get for looking after Chime for her.]

A vacuum's a thing that cleans. This one moves around on its own. She likes riding on it.

Cleans what? Floors? You can't do that yourself? [Sorry, Tris is a little judgmental about household chores.] I suppose it's good that Chime enjoys it.

Besides, I bet you use magic to do tons of shit you could do yourself.

We don't have devices like that in my world.

I don't use magic to cook or clean or do any everyday housework. I once lifted myself to the top of a tower with winds, but that was an experiment. Ordinarily I walk up the stairs just like anybody else. [Tris hates stairs, but she does use them.] I use breezes to keep cool when it's hot out, but I couldn't do that without magic.

Haha it's called a fan though.

Waving a fan isn't nearly as effective as my breezes.

Whatever yo I'm from New Mexico, you don't know from hot until you've been to ABQ.

Where we have electricity and stuff like air conditioning. Way better than breezes.

I've handled more heat than any non-mage could, I just hate being stuck sitting in it.

And what in Mila's name does IDK mean? [Someone is apparently exasperated with being clueless about vocabulary.]

Is that often done in your world, abbreviating things and assuming your meaning is common knowledge?
